be frugal

Frugal Magazine

by Frugalology

We now have a new site, Frugal Magazine, that we are slowly migrating all of our frugal living sites to – along with our coupon site, tightwad site, and freebies site.

Because of the move, we will (for the most part) not be updating this site, but rather be posting to Frugal Magazine at http://www.frugalmagazine.com.

In the near future, we will also be putting out the print magazine for Frugal Magazine. The print issues will feature various frugal living topics, frugal living ideas, frugal recipes, etc.  Some issues will be strickly one frugal topic, such as only frugal recipes or frugal decorating.  more on this when we are ready to roll this out.

So please check out our new Frugal Magazine site and be sure to LIKE our Frugal Magazine Facebook page also.  The new site is where the latest frugal living news and information will be posted.

About Frugalology

Cindy Thomas is the founder and owner of Frugalology.com.

Frugal living has been a normal part of life for Cindy, so she knows how to be frugal and save money.  For years, Cindy has shared frugal living tips and ways to save money. Now she’s moved into the realm of helping others be frugal by stepping into the world of publishing.

Cindy’s new line of Frugalology – Be Frugal books are coming!  These How to be Frugal books will help anyone who wants to save money and be frugal.  The cool thing about this line of frugal living books is that each one is intended to be shorter and more helpful than the average book.

Rather than have huge frugal living books covering everything and anything at once in one book, the Frugalology – Be Frugal line of books will be shorter, each dealing with particular frugal and/or financial issues. This will make it easier for readers to incorporate the frugal tips into their daily living.

What topics can you expect? Well, there are a lot! After all, frugal living is about living, just frugal. Some of the coming Be Frugal topics are: frugal parenting, frugal recipes, frugal family, frugal holidays, frugal travel, frugal homeschooling, frugal homemaking, saving money, coupons, frugal pets, frugal kids, frugal teens, working at home, what to do if you just lost your job, how to get money fast, what do to if you’re in need, budgeting, how to handle unexpected bills, how to save money at the grocery store, frugal shopping, day to day frugal living, tightwad tips, super cheap living, frugal crafts, how to get freebies, how to cut expenses fast, and more.

With the economy getting worse all the time, more and more people not only want but NEED to live a more frugal life. They NEED to be frugal. This new line of frugal living books can help anyone who needs to learn how to be frugal.

Frugalology – How to be Frugal – is finally getting started (again).  Yay!

A while back, we changed the hosting servers for all of our sites.  Instead of putting Frugalology back up right away, I decided to wait because I wanted to take Frugalology into a new direction, not just post basically the same frugal living things I had on my other frugal sites.

A couple of days ago, I finally figured out what I wanted to do with this site. (And the funny thing is that this is actually what I intended for this site in the beginning.)  When I first started Frugalology, I wanted to be able to write how to be frugal books that would help people save money and live on less.  But at the time, I didn’t have the know-how or means to get the frugal books published, so I put the plan on a back burner.

Fast forward to the present!  With the joyful popularity of Kindle, I have the means and the ability to share what I know in the hopes of helping others be frugal and live a more frugal life.

So I am playing with some WordPress themes to see what theme I like best. Over the next few days I will be tweaking and tinkering with the site until I have it looking as sweet as a newborn baby. That should be interesting!  :)

What I’m Doing Right Now: I’ve set up a Facebook fan page for Frugalology. Plus I will be working on a line of books in the coming weeks, all of which will be available on Kindle, and some as a regular physical book. And I’m working on some graphics for site and the books.
